A meeting was held on 18th July 2020 (Saturday) at the Ministry of Health Training Institute (Medical Laboratory Technology), Kuala Lumpur to discuss and prepare for the implementation of Allied Health Professions Act 2016 (Act 774). 

MIMLS is pleased to announce that our official journal - the Malaysian Journal of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MJMLS) is back with a fresh new look! 

MIMLS would like to express our condolences to the family of the late Dr. Lim Boo Liat, renowned expert in the field of zoology and medical ecology. 

The Malaysian Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MIMLS) welcomed the Ministry of Health Malaysia's move to appoint 1 July 2020 as the date on which the Allied Health Professions Act 2016 (Act 774) comes into operation. The Allied Health Professions Regulations (Fees) 2020 was also gazetted on the same day and came into force on the same day as the Act.
